UPLOADING THE FINAL VERSION OF THE PAPER AND
SIGNING THE ELECTRONIC IEEE Copyright Form (eCF)

Authors of the accepted papers are requested to upload the final versions of their papers and sign the IEEE Electronic Copyright Forms by October 7, 2022.

Both actions are to be performed via the same interface, provided by the CMT conference system which you have been using so far to submit your papers, as detailed below.

Final papers can be prepared and submitted following three steps and in the last of them you will be also in a position to initiate the copyright signing process:

  1. Step 1 - Prepare Your Final Paper
    • Paper must be written in English using the available LaTeX or Microsoft Word templates for A4 format. Formatting may not be altered.
    • Up to 8 pages are required per paper in standard IEEE format.
    • According to the requirements of IEEE all the papers will be checked by conference organizers for plagiarism before they will be published in IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.
  2. Step 2 - Add Copyright information to the first page of the paper
    • The appropriate copyright notice is to appear on the bottom of the first page of each paper according to the information provided earlier in the acceptance letter, i.e.,

For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is:
U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright

For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is:
      978-1-6654-5656-2/22/$31.00 ©2022 Crown

For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is:
      978-1-6654-5656-2/22/$31.00 ©2022 European Union

For all other papers the copyright notice is:
      978-1-6654-5656-2/22/$31.00 ©2022

  3. Step 3 - Upload Your Final Paper
    • The final paper should be uploaded via the CMT system, like the original submission, i.e., following this link:
      https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/IEEEIS2022/
After logging in you will see two extra links next to your paper, under the heading Camera Ready:. Please follow them to upload the final version of your paper and to sign the related copyright form, respectively.
When you follow the link for the copyright form signing you will first see another CMT page with the line:

Click here to redirect to the IEEE Copyright Web Site (If you have completed the form but forgot to download the PDF Copyright file, click here)

Then click the first "here" link and you will be be redirected to an IEEE site where you will sign the copyright which is there prepared for you, just by typing your name. Only one author signs the copyright on behalf of all co-authors. After you sign the copyright form please download it and when you will be returned back to the CMT system please upload it there. The "Upload from Computer", "Save" and "Cancel" buttons on this page are just for that.

In case of any doubts please consult the help information of the CMT system which is available here.
